For some reason the day went by in a flash!

Went to the village today...Bubs had to get his haircut at Astor...i walked around a bit enjoying the nice weather...Afterwards, we went to NJ for Annie's baby shower today...it was nice but since most were family and everyone was Chinese, I felt like I was crashing some stranger's get together..haha ....it's still hard to believe i know someone who's actually going to be a mother...lookin at the gifts made me realize babies need soOoOo much...cribs, playpen, strollers, etc...I guess raising a puppy really isn't sufficient practice for raising human beings...I wouldn't be able to handle a puppy now (which is why i don't have one)

Yay to Grace for the super fantistic baby games..haha...the candles are great!..i have one lit on my table now..smells yum!

Saw Grace/Jason's new place...makes me want to have my own home too!....Bubs and I will hopefully start looking around for places towards the end of next year...we just need to pick a neighborhood we can both agree on...

will be heading to bahamas in two weeks...Bubs surprise me with trip for our 8th yr anniversary...we gonna tan and relax like it's our 2nd job!!..so excited!!!

Been thinking of taking some sort of class...i think perhaps a jewlery class??...tho i don't like wear much jewelry, i do love browsing around bead shops...it's just frustating not knowing how to put things together...I think a cooking class would also be neat but i doubt i'd put my knowledge to good use...I would also love to take a glass blowing class but in the end i think i'd end up hurting myself...

Funny how we wait and wait for Fridays to come around..then the weekend's gone in a flash...all in all i had a pretty relaxing weekend...

Friday Ken and i went to the gym, ate dinner and then caught the 12:20am showing of "Crash"...must say...i thought it was an excellent movie!...two thumbs up

Saturday Ken and i took a drive way into LI and spent a few hours at Tanger Outlets...the drive was pretty long but the roads were really clear so had a good time chatting in the car and listening to music...then went over to Roger's and Art's for some takeout and bummed around with them, Fong and Alice...had a funny time being "CRAZY"

Today we went out for some Bbq in the city at Madison Park for the 3rd annual "Big Apple Bbq Block Party"...OMG it was HOT out today...but i think i have some color to my face now...the park was packed and boy were the lines looooong....i'm not a huge fan of bbq but i liked Dinosaur ..they have a restaurant somewhere in the city and the menu for the place looked cheap so must try it one of these days!...

Now just bumming around in bed getting ready to watch a few episodes of Naruto before i hit the sack.

Hope everyone had a good weekend...back to work tomorrow...but only Mon and Tues for me...going on a lil vacation..YAY!

yay!...tomorrow's Wednesday...half the week is over!!...my company's starting summer Fridays this week - meaning I can leave at 12:30 every Friday as long as come in at at 8am Mon-Thurs...as exciting as it may be to leave early on a sunny Friday, I'm not sure if i'll be able to get up in the morning...if you're late even one of those days, you forfeit that early leave on Friday...so i have some serious thinking to do..

had dinner with the parents and Bubs last night...sis was in town on a Google business trip (she lives in Cali)...the family met her new boyfriend of about half a year...We had dinner at our fave chinese restaurant "Mama Buddha"....dinner went well!!...we all took a liking to her bf....I could see why she liked him...he's easy going and seems patient..like Bubs..but unlike Bubs, Steve is pretty talkative...i think my mom, sis and myself are greatly in need of a buddy who can compliment our nuttiness...i think all three of us have managed to do that...

on a brighter note, Bubs reminded me that we'll be leaving for New Orleans next Thursday...fantastico!!!...we really need to get away....i took off Wednesday as well so we might make a pit stop at the beach and get some color....i'm excited!!

Work went by pretty quick today.  It's been busy - deadlines are due for our Spring line so we've been rushing to get out our designs ASAP!

Roger picked me and Alice up after work...went to go eat at Mekong...my noodles sucked..Alice wanted to watch this new show called "Beauty and the Geek" on MTV...i'm not usually a fan of MTV but must admit the show was quite entertaining..can't wait for the next episode!!..much drama ahead!..

we're watching "Lost"...supposedly it's a good show but i haven't seen one complete episode so am not that impressed...Rick Yune's korean sucks...but YAY to korean power!!

Ah...nearly 10:30pm...close to bed time...i'm feeling too lazy to walk the 2 blocks back to my apt...shall wait for Bubs to pick me up on his way home!...

Apologies..this entry is worse than yesterday's...will write when I have something interesting to say..or at least till i have some pics to post..

Sitting here playing with my new lap top.  Bubs bartered with a co-worker.  Car parts in exchange for a cute lil lap top which i claimed to be MINE.  Oddly enough, I suddenly remembered my password to this old account and guess I"ll try blogging  more.

I spent the majority of my Memorial Day Weekend sleeping!  A few friends went to Bahamas - in retrospect i'm thinking I should've gone with them!  Oh well...I still have New Orleans next month and I"m super excited about Mexico in November w/ Bubs.  I think in comparison to other ppl Bubs and I haven't travelled at all so this year we're trying to force ourselves to get away for some R&R.

Ah...will be meeting my sister's bf for the first time next Monday.  She works for Google and is coming to NY on a business trip and is bringing along her bf.  I feel sorry for him - haha j/k.  My parents can be a bit weird at times. She's mentioned several times how nervous he is.  He just turned 30 (6 yrs her elder).  I know the age difference bothers my mom a bit (she might be thinking "pervert").  From what Joyce tells me, he seems to be really sweet so, will be on my best behavior at dinner.

OK.  This entry was lame.  Will write when I have more to say.  Was going to test out my picture posting skills but realized I don't know how .
